Kim has been a maker, or un-maker, for as long as she can remember. As a kid she was always either building something new or taking something apart to figure out how it worked. It was always exciting when things worked again after she was done tinkering. Kim graduated from RIT with her degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and spent the majority of her career, over 13 years, in the automotive industry. In late 2022, Kim was fell into an opportunity that she couldn't pass up and by February 2023 decided it was her time to open her own Brooklyn Robot Foundry in Rochester. She is so excited to share robot building with the many kids and families in and around the Rochester area and can't wait to meet you!
In her spare time, Kim loves to hang out with her husband and son and their dog Ranger doing whatever the activity of the day happens to be!
