With a love of music at a very young age, Brian started playing guitar at 8 years old and began a short career in music. While the dreams of a rockstar were not in the cards, he began his journey into business, marketing & graphic design, all while keeping his love of guitar and creating as hobbies. In 2012, as a marketing director for a small music store in Batavia NY, he started Howling Monkey Guitar picks after finding a niche market in unique, high-end guitar picks. Howling Monkey quickly took off, garnering international attention and reviews from some of the biggest publications in the guitar community. In 2013 he moved his operations to Rochester, NY and has focused exclusively on creating beautiful long lasting guitar picks and accessories for guitarists.
