Deathrow: 1930s Era Homemade Motorcycle

Fabrication
Deathrow started as a fat tire beach cruiser bicycle and was modified to have a pressure washer engine, go kart transmission, wooden fenders and other parts added to it to become a full size 1930s era motorcycle that can cruise at speeds up to 50mph!

Hunter Leonard

I'm a third year mechanical engineering student at Rochester Institute of Technology and a member of Engineering House where I build motorcycles and 3D printers. I love using my hands and getting dirty to create something new and fun and showing it to the world to inspire others that with a little motivation, anything is possible.

What inspired you to make this project?
Since I love old motorcycles but could never afford one from the 1930s, I decided to build one out of a bicycle frame. In about 6 months, a mount for the engine was welded together, wood fenders were bent and another gas tank was added to the frame as well as many other small details that make this motorcycle one of a kind.
