Kenji Yoshino

Kenji Yoshino, a Hamilton, NY native, attended Grinnell College ('11) to study chemistry. Shortly after graduating he discovered his love for teaching science when he wrote and performed a hands-on-science show called "Try This at Home" for children at local public library. A few years later he invented and released the plans for the first Smartphone Microscope. The video and instructable detailing the project went viral and the scope is now being used in classrooms around the world. He and the Smartphone Microscope team are now working on designing a commercial grade product to take directly to consumers online.
