She also presents professional development workshops for teachers, librarians, and other educators. Kathy has written more than a dozen books for kids through adult beginners. Her titles include Bots! Robotics Engineering with Makerspace Activities for Kids, Paper Inventions, Fabric and Fiber Inventions, and Video Games: Design and Code Your Adventure. She was the Homeschooling Expert for About.com and creates learning guides for the technology company Adafruit.
